Noble Township Road Opened in Landmark Circuit Court Case

The Noble Township road dispute, filed by William H. Henry against Elliott M. Kraig and Milo J. Saxon and wife, was decided for the defendants. Air Hose Break Injures Panhandle Conductor in Marion

Conductor Robert C. Richards was badly hurt yesterday afternoon when an air hose on a train near Marion failed at about ten miles per hour. The wreck sent cars rebounding, injuring Richards who was in the caboose and cutting his face and lip. Another worker, Carl Ling, was injured at the Marion freight depot.

Ungrateful Old Man Arraigned in Logansport

Injured Man Shot by Deputy At Kentland Then Hospitalized

This afternoon circuit court adjourned sine die ending a crowded April term. Judge Larry welcomed the summer vacation as many cases were rushed through and disposed of. Clerk W H Jacks said he had no time to record entries. Marshall Rost and Lartel filed suit against Daniel E Sherman for 450 dollars to be heard in September.

Fractured Rib Lands Mrs Slaybaugh in Accident

Mrs John Slaybaugh wife of ex Councilman Slaybaugh suffered a fractured rib after a fall from a tree while picking cherries yesterday shortly before noon. A physician reduced the fracture and she is on the road to recovery.
