Bert Smith an employee of the Panhandle shows will depart for Birmingham England tomorrow evening to marry. He came to this country three years ago and located in this city. He will be married in Birmingham in July and return with his bride about August 1.
Mrs Frances Hoover of Mex Was was struck by an automobile near Mossley Peru while leading a horse. She sustained broken ribs and body bruises from the collision.
Insurance agent William H. Prowley sues Carlton H. Price to replevin a note given as payment for a policy. The note, endorsed to a second holder, was kept by Crowley after Price paid and later refused return. The wife, Dominick Loianice, says her husband Carlton Loianice deserted two days after their wedding following alleged past assault.
W R Johnson of Tennessee was elected president of the Travelers' Protective association at Norfolk Virginia after an Iowa shift to block President Howe. A night session sparked a small riot as Howe attempted to adjourn to boost his candidacy, but cooler heads saved the meeting and a roll call ended the proceedings with adjournment defeated.

A gasoline stove fire at Mrs. Belle Headlee's home 416 Second Street started when she briefly left the kitchen. She moved a rag over the stove and carried it outside. firefighters were summoned but the blaze was extinguished before they arrived.
