Harry Bender Austin Hale and Paul Delzel, all of Logansport, prepare to register for government land lotteries in Idaho Montana and Washington. Hale and Delzell left Logansport in 1903 and never returned.

Funeral notices report Mrs Pearl Hoffman long resident of this city died in poverty in Indianapolis. Daughter of a Spaniard of high rank and once wealthy she spent her youth in Spain and studied languages under Dr Max F A Hoffman in New York. She later married Dr Hoffman and lived here before moving to Indianapolis. They sold their property in later years.
Mrs. Hoffman operated a news stand after her stock ran out and sold the Indianapolis News for thirty five years, making a steady living from the venture.

Kinzir was ejected after a disputed call as Broadway ushers anticipated a rematch. Lineup includes Murdock players Bearth Folsom Rickert Conkle Emery Shipley Bliss Tucker Rorbach Vernon and Silk Stockings Smith Wagner Wood Helvie Reed Davis Metz Warren Sauers.

Manager Earl Sipe of the Broadway theatre plans to release about ten toy paper balloons Monday morning. Those who find a balloon and return the ticket will gain free admission. Balloons launch every five minutes and may travel far if wind favors. Last year Ernest Pearson of the Red Cross pharmacy sent an eight foot balloon that landed a mile north of Lucerne and was returned by a farmer.
