Mrs. Body widow of John Body was found dead by hanging in an old barn at her Loree home seven miles south of Peru. The 60 year old left no apparent motive. She leaves three daughters, one single and two married, and resided about half a mile south of Loree.
Fire Threatens Business Block In Logansport
A mysterious blaze last night damaged rooms occupied by Williard Burgess near the Logansport and Wabasha Valley Gas office on Pearl Street. The fire caused about $500 in damage to building and furniture before firefighters contained it. Burgess room door was forced but no body found. several bystanders feared a fatality before later confirmation.
