Suit Seeks 2000 In Injuries From Rail Accident Near Noblesville
Hiram White, through attorneys, sues Panhandle Railroad in circuit court for 2000 dollars claiming a missing guardrail left his foot crushed while moving between cars on an October 18, 1908 excursion from Noblesville to Indianapolis. His foot was freed only after conductor pulled the bell cord and the train halted. The accident occurred at the first station north of Noblesville and White was brought back to the city.
