Boy’s Nose Nearly Severed In Yard Accident
Roy Patterson fourteen year old son of Frank W. Patterson was in a Rocky Mountain Giant game when he ducked under a pump and hit a stretched wire across a grape arbor. The nose was nearly severed and he suffered a brain concussion. He was carried home by Mrs Paul and Grace with doctors Hatch and Johnson attending. He regained some consciousness and walked about the house the next day. He is a trusted carrier on route No 7 including Spear and George streets.
