Youngster Loses Thumb In Rural Accident Amputation Given
The six year old son of Mr and Mrs Andy Briner on rural route five was trying to inspect a feed chopper when his thumb was caught in the moving blades. Doctors Johnson and Hatch amputated the thumb to prevent blood poisoning after the injury occurred Sunday near his uncle Byron Beecer’s farm four miles north of town.
