South Side street car hits freight train at canal

False alarm sends fire crews to wrong intersection
Last night a telephone fire alarm directed units to Twentieth and High streets where no fire was found. Inquiry revealed the blaze at Kloenne and Howard streets on the South Side, where a wood box in a kitchen caught fire. Two women moved the box to the backyard. no damage and no injuries.
