A four year old boy from Penn wanders from his hosts in the East End on a Santa hunt. He carries a little girl’s shoe and tells his father he will hang it for Santa to fill. Police, relatives, and the boy’s parents search for hours before he is found wandering with the shoe and returned home.
Mrs. Alice N. Mummert, president of the Indiana Federation of Clubs, announced officers including Mrs. J. Ballard as Eleventh district vice president, Mrs. Minnie Buchanan as director, and Mrs. J. F. Noland as chairman of the committee on industrial and child labor.
Work begins to remove the toppled section of the huge smoke stack at the city electric plant. John Ginrick, awarded the contract, will hurry the job due to danger under the stack after Thursday night wind storm bent it.
Fathter Oliver Hand reports a fine office chair from Mrs. Hand and a boy as a Christmas present. He explains the chair swings on a pivot and can face any direction at a moment's notice, aiding him to catch business and the kicker, going or coming.

Seven months old daughter of Mr and Mrs Lem Thompson died Sunday at their Butler home remains brought to Logansport for funeral today. Joseph J Hill died Sunday morning at State Street and Park Avenue residence aged 61 with private funeral and Mt Hope interment. John Carroll funeral held this morning at St Vincent de Paul church. Interment in Mt St Vincent.
In a lively circuit court session Lee Wah Sing claimed the shoes were burned accidentally while saving them from a fire at the laundry. He says he burned his fingers trying to retrieve them and denies intentional damage while appealing a judgment against him.
The Andrews town council approves a twenty five year franchise for the Andrews Light and Water company to build and operate an electric line from the village center to the Fort Wayne and Wabash Valley traction line station across the Wabash river, with support expected from the Wabash Valley company. A track already connects Andrews to the station, while the Wabash Valley line had refused to build the spur.
Logansport members applaud Justice Gaynor's Brooklyn Supreme Court ruling denying the supreme council's authority to raise or alter assessments for members. The decision preserves the original rates at admission.
Six cars of merchandise from fast freight No. S1 derailed between Wabash and Lagro at six o clock Saturday night a dragging wheel dropped causing the accident. Track blocked for several cars but no injuries reported. Loss to the company will be heavy.
