Chicago Robbery Ends With Doctor Paul Burgman Heroic Rescue
Dr E G Burgman, a former Logansport resident living on East Fullerton avenue, heard cries during a street robbery of Fred W. Miller at 672 Fullerton boulevard. Burgman fired a revolver at seven assailants, saving Miller who was left with a fractured jaw and eye injury. Miller’s life was spared and Burgman was praised for stopping the robbery.
