Boy hit by rock near eye in Shultztown incident
The one and a half year old son of Mr and Mrs Harry Copeland of Shultztown was struck near the eye by a rock thrown by other boys. He suffered a gash along his nose and was treated by Dr Bailard.

Fire Destroys Canal Street Home Sparks Blaze Nearby
A late yesterday blaze at G. Caruso’s 112 Canal Street destroyed the roof and caused about 1200 dollars in damage. The fire spread to adjacent homes owned by Killian & McCloskey and Mrs. Mary Becker before crews saved them. A passerby alerted the West Side fire station after a spark from a Panhandle engine started the fire. E C Wright of Florida Land helped by fighting flames from the Becker residence roof with a garden hose. A gold watch was recovered by a bystander and returned to James Palumbo and family.

Grant Miller, a Black man, was found Sunday on the Logan Street bridge in Kokomo behaving as if fishing in a stagnant Wildcat, imagining he was catching fish. City Board Calls Bids For Sewer On Eighteenth Street
At a morning meeting the Board of Works ordered City Clerk William Pickett to advertise for bids for a sewer on Eighteenth street between Miles and High. Bids for grading and macadamizing that stretch were also approved. The clerk was told to notify Logansport Heating to use paving bricks where needed. Cemetery deeds were issued to William A. Delphi man fined for assault on VaHey conductor
