Former Local Man Ends Life After Domestic Crisis
William F. Klinger, a Lafayette cigar maker formerly of Momence Illinois, shot himself in the front yard of his mother in law’s home at 1115 Adams Street after returning to Lafayette to be with his wife and two children. He had a history of threats and an earlier arrest for assault and battery. He died instantly. no note was found. He leaves a wife, two children, two sisters, and a brother.
