Pioneer Woman Dies at 131 Years in Logansport
Nancy Booth, born July 22 1815 in Harrison County Virginia, died yesterday at 8 30 am at her daughter W T Giffe’s home 1000 North Street after a three week illness. She moved to this city in 1802 and married DeHart Booth whose death occurred about twenty three years ago. Fourteen children were born. nine survive including Pearle Jap and several daughters and sons in the area. Funeral is set for tomorrow at three from the residence with Christian Scientists conducting the service and Mt Hope Cemetery is to receive the burial.

He recently returned home to 109 West Market Street after a period of illness and had worked in Fort Wayne. He was a third year high school student and son of J. B. Messinger.
