Mrs. John Eckert was laid to rest at Mt. St. Vincent after an automobile collision near Rochester last Friday. Injured in Runaway Near Galveston Hurts Cripe Family
Mrs. Jacob Cripe sustained a serious scalp wound and other injuries when a horse bolted a short distance from a road and threw the family from their rig in Galveston. Mrs. Edgar Cripe and her infant daughter had only scratches. Mrs. Cripe was treated at home by Dr. Miller and is expected to recover.

Bride Dies On Honeymoon Trip
Mrs. Charles Eastes formerly Miss Jewell Dean of this city died suddenly Sunday at Paso Texas while en route to her new home in Mexico. She had married ten days earlier and was on a honeymoon. Her death followed hemorrhages and her mother Mrs Timothy Dean had died recently. The body will be brought home for burial.
