Lightning Fatal to Two Youths at Wilson Dairy Farm
Two youths Harry Wilson and guest Harry Hank were killed when a lightning bolt struck the barn at the Wilson dairy farm two miles south of Peru Indiana. Six others were severely shocked but rescued by neighbors as the barn and contents burned. Hank, a recent Winona Lake graduate, had planned to start a Chicago job next week. The storm caused heavy rain and destruction to the barn, no other property damaged.

Roy Mullen a former Panhandle railroad employee from Swayzee Indiana is under detention in Paris charged with swindling a burgher out of fifty thousand dollars in a bridge whist game.
