M W Scheibel a cigarmaker from Louisville who worked in Logansport was killed early Sunday by an eastbound train near Burnettsville Indiana. Thomas Brant of Elston was arrested the same afternoon carrying a union card and items belonging to the dead man. Brant says he knew Scheibel eight years ago.
