Mrs Ollie Brown wife of James V Brown foreman at the O Donnell transfer stables drank carbolic acid at about 11 this morning after a late night family quarrel. Neighbors found her unconscious on her bed with an empty bottle and glass nearby. Drs Palmer and Rubeam attended, but she could not be revived and died at 2 45 this afternoon. Coroner to investigate.
