Traction dispute eyed as IU T franchise may be revoked

Ice wagon wreck dumps load at Eighth and Broadway
A wheel came off an Artificial Ice Co wagon this morning at Eighth and Broadway causing a dump of ice into the street. Workers freed the wagon with the horses and restowed the ice after replacing the wheel.

Man avoids bite by shooting dog on Third Street
