WAJORS ON STAND IN MAJORS CASE AT HOT SPRINGS TRIAL
Deputy Sheriff Joseph Belnap testified in the Majors case that Sherif Cardon Brown and he chased the Majors brothers on April 3 1908 near Hot Springs Box Elder county. He described gunfire on both sides, the elder Majors firing at Brown and Abe Majors firing again, Brown's death, and Majors being dislodged and arrested. Cross examination challenged his version while other witnesses described the events and other testimonies.
