Cache county Republicans hold convention and nominate slate
The Cache county Republican convention met at the court house last Saturday with Odell as chair. D. R. Roberts of Logan and W. Harris of Richmond served as temporary leaders and a full slate of officers and committee members was chosen. The platform praised Republican growth, sugar factory gains, and urged economical county government, highway improvement, and party unity. Election results named Bullen, Hendrickson, Knowles, Roberts, Peterson, Smart, and others for state senate, house, and county offices.

Cook of Douglas kicked a late first half goal as both teams produced many punts and end runs with a tight contest. John T Axton acted as umpire and J A Langton as referee.
