The meeting at the Courthouse on Saturday evening June 7 will appoint committees for celebrating the nation's holiday on July Fourth, 1902. Mayor Hansen asks all citizens to attend to ensure Logan has an excellent time on that day. Everybody attend.

Appointments announced for Stenday June with several names across Wellsville colleges and Sterling. Individuals named include J. W. Jensen Mendou H. Parker Wim W. Hall M. Foster Sorenson P. J. You tes Alma Laisenndi A. A. Lemmon Joay Jie.
Commencement exercises at Brigham Young College featured President Joseph P. Smith and notable church leaders in attendance. Diplomas were conferred on graduates across Arts, Normal, Academic, and Business courses, including Daniel T. Miller and Jacob F. Miller. A banquet followed as Part of the ceremonies, with remarks on progress and gospel education.
During the summer term from June 9 to July, Brigham Young College offers ten lectures by Prof. M. Y. O Shea of the University of Wisconsin. He is billed as a leading lecturer on teaching. Lectures in the BY Gymnasium start June 9 at 2 PM and 8 PM with 25 cents admission or 2 dollars for the full set. The program welcomes both public and student audiences.
Albuquerque June 8 Deputy United States Marshal McKeehan arrives from the West reporting Grant residents perceive activity near a volcano a few miles from the town. Passengers observed smoke toward the volcano and a man sent to the site says it was issuing from the largest volcano in the region.
