Senator Kearns urged the post office department to establish free delivery in Logan Utah. Logan already numbered houses and labeled streets per department rules, but delivery hinges on civil service exam results from applicants, delaying start until around April 1.
Pook as Paul and Melvin J Ballard, baritone soloist from Logan, arrived from Bali to hold two Mormon faith meetings in town. Paul, a Salt Lake university president and former newspaper editor, is hailed as highly talented. The invitation extends to all, with sessions at 2 p.m. and 7:80 p.m., promising lucid exposition and interest for Utah’s lawmakers and public.

The First National Bank of this city has been acquired by John A Hendrickson son Thomas Smart and Hans Hanson in a 75,000 sale. The new owners place $17 value on shares and Thomas Oldham and R S Lyon exit their large holdings. Hendrickson is expected to become bank president.

At the ward conference in Paredise the ward appears in excellent condition. Eleer Willim Humphreys has served as ward clerk for three years. records are fine. The church building gained a two story addition forming a chancel with rooms, costing about 3500 dollars when finished. The account mentions a piano ad by Harris Music Co. and testimonials.
