Paradise resident Ole M. Anderson killed in runaway

Ole M. Anderson, a Paradise resident and former justice of the peace, was killed Monday evening when his wagon ran away after he reportedly dropped the lines and was dragged by the horses. His body was found near the scene, and the accident caused the death of one of the horses. Anderson, born in Denmark and 42, left a wife and five children.

Enrollment Booms at The A C in Winter Courses

At 5 o'clock yesterday the Ogden Woolen Mills stockholders met at the mill office and elected A Hendrickson as president Peter Salt as vice president and JC Toning as secretary. The report showed a $10000 gain over last year and a ten per cent dividend was declared. Joseph Smith joined the officers as part of the mills. Plans call for extensive improvements including an electric light plant powered by the mills remaining horsepower to supply the city and factory.
