Logan City Council Bids For Pro City Hall And Cement Walks

The Logan City council held a lengthy session approving bids for a pro city hall construction and cement sidewalks on Main, plus four blocks of paving. They awarded 449.12 to Logan Temple Association for water system repairs and added lighting poles on North Alvin Street. Old folks day featured a concert at the opera house with many local performances and prizes for largest family and oldest attendees.

Notice to Contractors for Cement Sidewalk and Curb Work

Sealed proposals are invited by Logan City until December 1 1901 for cement sidewalk four inches thick on the west side of Main Street from Third to Fourth Street and on both sides of Third Street between F and Mato Streets, plus curbing and guttering. Articles of incorporation for the Logan Sugar Factory company filed with the County Clerk. The firm to exist 50 years and to manufacture sugar. Named incorporators include David Eccles president and T D Dee treasurer with total capital $500,000.
