Thirteen Die in Swift & Co Boiler Explosion
A Chicago Swift and Company packing plant boiler exploded Saturday morning, killing thirteen workers and injuring many others. The blast hurled boilers through the roof, wrecked adjoining buildings, and left no survivor in the boiler room.
