The Latter-day Saints in Logan announce ward meetings at 2 p.m. on Sundays and tabernacle services at 7 p.m. on Sundays, changing from the 2 p.m. time previously used. Stake Presidency members Joseph Morrell Isaac Smith and W W Maughan sign the notice.
The document lists ward names and numbers in the Hyrum Stake including Hyrum Ist No 1 through Mendon 8 and College 9, Millville 10, with Paradise 4 Avon 55 Mt. Sterling 6 Wells ville 7. Dated November 1815 and signed by HF Liljenquist and other stake leaders, naming several individuals such as A A Allen Jr Nielson Oldham Davis and Bird, plus Ke Owen Roueche Parkinson Pitkin Theresen.
Mrs. Aurora Hodge, 22, died Tuesday at Holy Cross Hospital from appendicitis complications while she awaited trial for the murder of Wm. X. Ryan near Murray on July 11. She confessed to the crime and expressed a wish to avoid prison, mentioning a wish to die rather than go to the penitentiary.
