Logan city to begin canal powered light plant project
Logan city officials visited the proposed municipal fighting plant site in Logan canyon on Wednesday and approved the canal route. Work to begin next Monday with 2% workers and tents, aiming to finish quickly and have electric light by October 1. The plan draws water from Crowther’s mill, two miles of canal, a curved pipe across river, and a power house on the mountainside, with minimal excavation. Citizens anticipate substantial power for the city and pride in progress. Also included is a testimonial for Chamberlain's Colic Cholera and Diarrhoea Remedy from Mary Haller of Mt. Crawford Va.
