The meeting moved to ask Dr. Seymour about securing a competent resident doctor. The accounts presented were approved for payment. Jacobs and Smith named Visiting Committee. plans linger on site and bank financing for rink extension.
Mr T J Pesley records provide details about Major Lowery injured in action. He was hit eight times while directing relief efforts at an advanced strong point. A shell later killed nineteen men and wounded Jim and Captain Hunt before resupply arrived.
Mr. C. E. Thomas, Government Dairy Recorder, presents Lloydminster Dairy records for 1914 noting 208 cows across 52 herds with high yields. Individual cows posted up to 7,556 lbs milk and 800 lbs fat. strongest herd averages 27000 lbs milk and 63600 fat. Thomas spoke at the Saske toon Dairyman's Convention in January and reports new branch contests in Wadena Melfort and Vermilion while keeping his Lloydminster district.
