The Executive Committee of the Central Texas Hereford Association met May 10 1930 in Port Mason Hotel to announce a Premier Sale of registered Herefords in October. The offering will include 40 bulls and 80 females judged by three cattle experts. only top animals will be sold at the Premier Sale with others possibly sold later. The sale will be at Premier Ranch with date to be announced. a June 28 Fort Mason Hotel meeting will finalize arrangements and a slogan contest offers 10 dollars in gold for the best submission with reasons, entry to SLGIN O ROTHMANN secretary Mason Texas.
The Federation reports a January 1929 drop in U S cotton consumption by 630000 bales while world demand rose by 1114000 bales, with India Egypt and other regions increasing output.
