Llano to Host Annual Livestock Show on March 9 10

Llano County will host the annual Livestock Show on March 9 and 10 with calves from 4 H Club Boys and prize cattle from Herefords. Buyers from San Antonio Austin and Fort Worth expected to bid on the calves with ribbons for winners and no entry fees.

44 Club Calf Feeders Visit Mason Calf Show Friday

W. W. Hart announced that all club members feeding club calves would be excused from school Friday morning to attend the Mason County 4-H Club Show. A large number of visitors from Liana are expected to attend the calf exhibition at Mason Friday morning.

New Saddle and Harness Firm Opens in Llano

Austin Long returns to Llano and resumes saddle and harness business in the Bridge street Simpson building. He rents the Matt Dees home for his family and plans a wide merchandise line with repair services, aiming to serve old patrons and attract new customers.

San Saba Admitted to Hill Country League for 1933

Hill Country Baseball League directors meet at Mason to replace Kerrville who joined Mountain League. San Saba defeats Pontotoc 7 3 for the berth and joins the league. 1933 schedule shows 25 games with July fourth double headers and altered visits. season opens April 2 with possible 1934 Cowboys exhibitions.

None Star Granite Works opens finishing plant here

The None Star Granite Works starts operations Monday morning in this area. Owned by Jonn W. Casey and H. M. Nichols, the plant sits east of Stith Gross Granite Works on the railway tracks and uses modern machinery. Completion will expand the facility to 125 by 60 feet to house machinery and workers.

The Llano county local farm loan committee chaired by T. J. Moore J. R. Rabb and Allan Newsom invites farmers to apply for Crop Production plan loans. State Board to Rule on Llano County Bond Claim Soon

Judge Sylvan B. Simpson disclosed Llano County seeks state participation in road bond payments. The board will consider the claim for 19000 dollars tied to bridges on roads later designated as state highways. If precedent holds, the board may assume interest and retirement on most of the claim.
