GI Education Benefits Expire For Some Veterans
The Veterans Administration clarifies GI Bill benefits for Vietnam Era veterans. Many training and flight programs set to expire May 31 1974 do not affect apprenticeship, flight training, and farm cooperative programs. Eligibility timelines vary by discharge date, with eight year limits from discharge or law for total benefits. VA urges eligible veterans or those nearing expiry to contact a VA office or local veterans service groups for guidance.
