Ear Tick Treatment Proves Effective Remedy

The Purevu of Animal Industry finds dips fail to kill ear ticks. A pine tar and cottonseed oil mix, two parts pine tar to one part cottonseed oil, kills ticks and protects against reinfestation for about thirty days. Use a 1–2 ounce syringe to inject half an ounce into the ear canal and massage to reach deeper parts.
