Miss Betty Hewgley of Fort Worth was honored with a coffee event hosted by Mrs. Jim Renick. About 25 guests attended as magnolia decor and spring floral arrangements framed the refreshments.
Miss Jacqueline Larremore and Claude Elliott Sessions Jr. wed at the Church of Christ in Victoria on Saturday June 7. The ceremony featured yellow gladioli, beaded lace gown, and a cascade bouquet. Attendants included Linda Kelso and SWT College friends. The couple will reside at 300 Tinda Drive Victoria.
The Chapelwood Church in Lake Jackson hosted the May 24 wedding of Miss Lynda Kay Walker and Ronnie Nelson Holloway before an altar of spring blooms. Attendants included maid of honor Betty Henderson. best man Bennie C. Belew. ushers Harry Tidwell and Paul Nunely. The couple, both graduates, will reside in Llano after a reception at the church.

Mr and Mrs Norman Birk announce the engagement of their daughter Shirleyan to Don Carlos Evers of Dallas son of Mr and Mrs H M Evers of Castell Shirleyan is a Llano High School graduate and her fiancé also graduated from Llano High School He attended LeTourneau Tech at Longview After three years in the United States Army he is employed at Hunsaker Trucking in Dallas as a diesel mechanic A late summer wedding is planned.
Mr. and Mrs. Dexter Sagebiel welcomed a daughter, Terrie Lynn, born Wednesday May 28 in Abilene. She has one sister, Trudy Jo. The mother is former Miss Elizabeth Klett of Fredericksburg. Grandparents are Mr. and Mrs. Martin Sagebiel of Llane land and Mr. and Mrs. Walter Klett of Fredericksburg.
Miss Linda Ray visits parents Mr and Mrs J P Ray before leaving last week to Denton where she enrolled for the first summer session at Texas Woman's University majoring in library science Ray had attended McMurry College for the past two years
Jeannie Nessitt of Buchanan Dam is among 1,766 graduates at the University of Denver commencement on Tuesday June 10. Five prominent Americans will receive honorary degrees led by US Senator Mark Hatfield who will deliver the address.
Mrs. Kenneth Wiley of Seattle, Washington, visits her aunt and uncle Mr and Mrs Wilma S. Larrimore and family and participates in the wedding of her cousin Jackie Larrimore on Saturday.
At the 4H Electric Club meeting Wayne Crabtree demonstrated detecting a magnetic field and Christy McAnally detected a tiny current. Kelly Myers and Keith Thms built a galvanoscope and showed current by measuring voltages. Mrs. Lester Ibms guided the group in completing an electric record book for a county award. Kelly and Keith had perfect attendance all year.
Mr and Mrs Jimmy Eden visited her parents Mr and Mrs Robert Kassel in Duncanville where they taught last year. They will move to Stanton where they have accepted teaching positions for the coming year. Mrs Eden is the former Miss Sandra Kassel.
Bobby Morall is back home for the summer following a year spent working at Southwest Texas State University.
