Lisyd Uttertack Named Air Force ROTC Scholarship Recipient
Lisyd Uttertack of Kingsland has been selected as an Air Force ROTC scholarship recipient for the 1971-72 academic year. Eligibility requires meeting enlistment and ROTC program standards. he has met the requirements and passed medical and qualifying tests. He is admitted to A&M University for fall 1971 and must maintain a 2.00 GPA to continue the four year scholarship.

Eden Rites Held For Mrs. R. Hoover
Funeral services were held for Mrs. Raymond Hoover 73 of Llano County who died Friday. Born July 19 1897 in Long Grove she married Raymond Hoover in 196 in Llano County. Survivors include two sons a daughter sisters and grandchildren with local relatives attending.

Beginners Band Lessons Begin June in New Hall
