Charles E. Dean born August 16 1877 near Babyhead died May 21 1925. He married Lillian Moore on December 23 1914 and had two sons Clifton and Raymon. Survived by wife children mother two sisters three brothers. He joined the church July 21 1923 under Elder Ira Grantham and lived a devout life. Burial in Cherokee cemetery with Elder L V Nobles giving comfort. Written by G W Christian.

Hardy and his wife intend to leave their Panama residence within days. They will drive to New York City and board a boat to Panama. They chose New York over New Orleans because government boats operate between the southern port and their home.
R. E. Pfaefflin of Austin is overseeing electrical equipment installation in the new high school building. The structure is progressing quickly with most exterior work finished and interior carpentry and mechanics ready for turnover. After completion, work will begin on repairing the old high school.
J B Cage spent the first of the week in Llano on a business trip meeting with relatives and friends. He reports Taft County in good condition and that most fat stuff is looking fine and well advance.
