Tornado Watch, Hailstorms Hit Central Texas Regions
Severe weather swept Central Texas on Monday night with hail up to grapefruit size reported in Llano County causing car damage and shattered windows. A tornado watch went out around 2 55 p m as storm systems built from Fredericksburg to Brownwood and moved east toward the Balcones Escarpment. Clouds persisted Tuesday with more damage noted in Enchanted Rock Fredericksburg and Prairie Mountain areas while rainfall totals reached about two inches in parts of Llano County and 1.67 inches at Ligno station.
