New Flags Drape Courthouse Square For Memorial Day
Ten new fifty star flags adorn the courthouse square as Memorial Day festivities begin on May 30. The cotton flags measure three by five feet and will decorate the area during the rodeo events. Sergi Kabanchouk of Seguin recently visited the Sagebiels. he previously lived with them and attended Llano schools.

Howard Wallace recalls his boyhood duty transporting 600 two year old steers purchased by his father from Capt. Percival Willem Franklin. The herd rode by railroad from Kingsland and the run included guiding twelve horses to Liane across the Liano River in a tense nocturnal trek.
