Llano ranchers bought registered Hereford bulls from Frank Jordan of Mason. Buyers include Howard Lang Alex Hardin and Ben Tatsch of Castell and J D Gray of Cherokee.
Alfred Spitz representing Social Security was guest speaker at the Valley Spring Rural Neighborhood Improvement Organization meeting at the Community Center. A. Short presided as members discussed finishing the contest year and aiming for a top three state ranking in the final contest.
Look Who's Here Dr and Mrs Sidney Wayne Kowierschke of Dallas announce the birth of daughter Sandra Kay on January 30 in Dallas. She has two sisters Linda and Elaine. Paternal grandparents are Mr and Mrs Martin Kowierschke of Llano. Weather notes predict snow tomorrow with boys and sleds.
