Fires Continue To Plague Llano In Central Texas
Dry weather fuels a series of grass and barn fires near Llano Texas on Tuesday. A 300 acre blaze on the Charlie Ratliff ranch west of Llano on Highway 84 burned. a barn east of Llano on Highway 71 belonging to A W Mourland was destroyed. another grass fire burned at the John Rabb ranch west of Llano. Fire departments aided as Forest Service plane was considered but not needed. 1,500 sacks of cake feed burned in the Moorsand barn fire. Llano reports 67 fire alarms in 1975 with 33 grass, 12 vehicle, 15 building fires.
