Rites Held Tuesday For Marvin Land
Marvin M. Land 54 of Austin and formerly of Llano died Sunday in Prackenridge Hospital Austin after a lengthy illness. Funeral services were held Tuesday at Waldrope Funeral Home with burial in Llano Cemetery. He was born December 22 1911 in Fredericksburg and moved to Austin five years ago with his wife Ardis Lee Rickets. He was a Lutheran, a lumberman contractor with Walter Carrington Homes, and a Navy veteran. Survived by wife four brothers and one sister.

Funeral services for Mrs. P L Page 91 were held Christmas afternoon at Waldrope Funeral Home with Rev Bethel Pines officiating. Burial was in Adams family cemetery at Rich and Spring. She died December 24 at her Llano home. She and P L Page marked their 68th wedding anniversary two weeks earlier. She was born March 29 1875 in Springfield Missouri and lived in Richland Springs before moving to Llano thirty years ago. Survived by husband two sons, five daughters eight grandchildren ten great grandchildren and one great great grandson. Pallbearers were nephews Woodrow Wilson Joan and Roy Wilson.
