Llano County Receives Heavy Rain After Weeks of Drought
Heavy rains fell over Llano County on Saturday and again Sunday morning, soaking the ground and filling tanks in parts of the county. The town saw little rain but nearby creeks carried water, aiding early winter grazing and easing stock shipments as farmers report improvements in conditions and prospects for cotton. Mason, Kimble, and Maverick counties logged heavier totals, with Panola noting widespread water carry and western districts reporting significant precipitation.
