A Texas bill authorizes steam and interurban railways to grant free passes to current or future state pensioners. It cites Confederate soldiers and widows, claims emergency to suspend three readings, and notes railroads offered no opposition while promoting the measure.

Dr. H H Harrington and George Rutan spoke to about 50 sheep and goat raisers in Brady about forming a 2,000,000 pound wool pool. Robt W Broyles born July 1 1844 in Calhoun County Alabama died at his Cherokee Creek home last Saturday March 26 1921 aged 76 near July. Fostered Confederate service at 17 in 1861 then moved to Texas settling at Palestine before relocating to this county. Survived by wife Mrs S A Allstott and five of eight children Robt Singleton Marsh George Rose and Alex all in county except Marsh at Nacogdoches.
