Auctioneer H. T. Hacker sold for the estate of the late Aaron Z. Weidman several tracts in Brickerville and Rapho township including the Weidman home on about 3 acres for 2480 and a one acre Marks store property for 1500. A 110 acre woodland went to Charles Lebzelter for 1100. another farm near the Manheim and Mt. Joy turnpike brought 12000. Phares G Kauffman’s farm sold for 15610 to Benjamin R. Stauffer. The Lancaster county commissioners bought the Lancaster and Marietta turnpike for 48630, about 12 miles from Race Street to Marietta. The four township supervisors will maintain it after deed delivery.
