Lancaster County tobacco buyers surged last week with wrap and filler crops selling as high as 20 cents and 6 cents respectively. Several buyers and sellers reported 18 to 20 cent wrappers and 4 to 8 cent fillers as market activity continues. Plans for a new Jno Longenecker garage on North Broad Street include a 64 by 175 foot site with two story and glass-front additions and room for 120 cars.
