Lititz High Loses Finale to Ephrata in Big Crowd
Lititz High closed its football season Saturday with a 28 to 0 defeat at home against arch rival Ephrata before the largest outside crowd in years. Ephrata outweighed Lititz by about 15 pounds per player and dominated play, though Lititz showed heart and several first downs mostly from passes. Coach Williamson drew praise for the year’s progress after a season that followed last year’s winless slate while Dr. Richard Bentes watched his son John on the field.
