Penryn Pennings and a Busy Sabbath at the Shirt Factory
Local notes describe Mr and Mrs Homer Schreiner visiting with Graybill Hassler and others, a management change at the shirt factory with Ed Weber replaced by Ed Yeagly, and forelady Miss Wilson staying on briefly. Several incidents include a boy’s hayloft accident stitched by Dr Seiling, a choir leadership change anticipated as Milton Diehm resigns, and lively tales of a fighting rooster and a leaping goat. The shirt factory plans to reopen next week after a short closure and Miss Enck grows a date palm seedling into a palm over a foot tall.
