Moravian Pageant to Portray Lititz Figures and Mission Work
A moving tableau in a Moravian pageant features lititz notables and roles for Jacob Ruhl as David and William Ringer among many performers. Scenes depict the storm at sea, Count Zinzendorf and his daughter, the first church orchestra, Sisters' House life, David Zeisberger as Indian missionary, military hospital care, pioneer industries, and a 1800 birthday tribute, highlighting Lititz’s missionary reach. The Moravian Church has three times as many members abroad as at home. Lititz has sent 24 missionaries.
