Mrs Barbara Markley Dies After Illness in Elizabethtown
Mrs Barbara Markley aged 89 died at her daughter Mrs David Allison's home in Elizabethtown after seven weeks of illness from arteriosclerosis. Born in Hass Petersburg she lived in Elizabethtown for ten years and was a Brethren church member. Survived by three children including Mrs Allison and Mrs Lizzie Elmyra of Elmira New York and Hiram.

Misa Violetta Weachter hosted a St Patrick's party at her home with friends. Funeral services for Jacob Ditzler were held at Flopeland A B church with Rev. Morgan and N I Fake officiating. Several families reported illnesses and visits occurred among neighbors. A public sale of household goods is set for Saturday March 26 near Clay school by Mrs John Plautz. Elmer Rock plans to occupy property purchased from the John Pfautz family on April 1 as Harvey Rock aids in garage construction.

Charles Rose delivered a potato load to Lancaster on Tuesday. Mrs Lillian Whybrecht from Palm Beach Florida came to attend the Habecker funeral. Mr and Mrs Emanuel Singer of Kissel Hill visited the family of Martin Barto on Sunday.

S Markley of Lexington and Jefferson Swarr of Elizabeth Town survive in a family obituary. Services were held at Becks funeral parlors Manheim and at Longeneither's Brethren church with interment in the adjoining cemetery. Mrs Lizzie F Bucher died at 2 40 pm after a long illness leaving a husband Henry R Bucher and four children Clayton Anna Jonas and Harry. Twelve grandchildren and several siblings survive. Funeral services were held at the Lititz area.
