The piece then shifts to brief news tidbits, including escapes, a leprosy misadventure, Congress timing, a fall caused by serenade revelry, a lethal bag weapon incident, an ancient preserved apple, a Boston pickle business success, and roadway neglect near Shober's mill with potential township liability.
