Song of Thanksgiving Cantata Presented by Local Choirs
The Song of Thanksgiving cantata by J. H. Maunder was offered by St. Paul's Reformed choir of Lancaster and the Moravian choir of Lititz. Performances were Tuesday June 26 at 8 pm in St. Paul's church and Thursday June 28 at 8 pm in the Moravian church Lititz. Soloists included Emily Nusta soprano, Mrs. Harry Kuntz contralto, E. K. Savage tenor, Victor Wagner bass, with Bessie Gingrich directing and Viola Leib at the organ. A silver offering was to be lifted.

Swarthmore circuit lititz will host the 1924 chautauqua after 161 guarantors backed the coming season. The program impressed patrons with high educational standards though ticket sales fell short, leaving guarantors to be assessed about nine dollars each. Lititz has hosted chautauquas on the circuit for twelve years.
